Esra's information base: A group of foreign guests from Bahrain met and talked with Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli
Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli stated in this meeting, "We should always ask Allah for the stability of souls in order to remain persistent in our good path."
His Holiness had a statement: Imam Sajjad, peace be upon him, said in a statement: «وَيلٌ لِمَن غَلَبَت آحادُهُ أعشارَهُ! » Woe to the one whose one is more than his ten, considering that every sin has one punishment but every good deed has ten rewards, Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) says that you should not be like this that on the Day of Judgment these ones More than tens!"
He said, "Sometimes a person does a good deed and gets rewarded at least 10 times «مَنْ جاءَ بِالْحَسَنَةِ فَلَهُ عَشْرُ أَمْثالِها» This is a normal thing, but sometimes one does a good deed and from the very beginning says that is doing this good deed«قربة الی الله و تثبیتا لانفهسم» I do this good deed to stabilize my situation so that I don't slip to the end and do not get deviated."
His Eminence stated, "Allah says in verse 256 of Surah Al-Baqarah, « وَمَثَلُ الَّذِينَ يُنْفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمُ ابْتِغَاءَ مَرْضَاتِ اللَّهِ وَتَثْبِيتًا مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ كَمَثَلِ جَنَّةٍ بِرَبْوَةٍ أَصَابَهَا وَابِلٌ فَآتَتْ أُكُلَهَا ضِعْفَيْنِ فَإِنْ لَمْ يُصِبْهَا وَابِلٌ فَطَلٌّ ۗ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ» It is stated in the Blessed Surah Al-Baqarah that If you do a good deed, your intention from the very beginning should be to stay firm and do not slip until the end, not to do a good deed so that later Allah will give me something. No! I consider this good deed as the water that I pour into my roots to remain steadfast.
