Esra NEWS Agency: Hojjat al-Islam and Muslimeen Mir Mohammadi, head of the Makaz Khadamat Howzeh, and the accompanying delegation met and talked with Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli at his house.
Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli expressed in this meeting, "A believer should live proudly, Allah assigned honor for believers in the Holy Quran and said﴿وَلِلَّهِ العِزَّةُ وَلِرَسولِهِ وَلِلمُؤمِنينَ﴾ Honor belongs to Allah, and his Messenger and believers have honor because of their relationship with Allah. Believers should be dignified, and the clergies, who are the teachers of this society and teach dignity, their dignity should be protected."
Stating that dignity is to preserve both one's own honor and the honor of others, he said, "There is no country on this planet that does not think about its own poor, whether they are infidels or Muslims! Therefore, only helping the deprived and poor is not Islamic, helping the poor is out of compassion, but the rational thing is to prevent poverty. we have to think Islamicly and that is we uproot the poverty to protect the dignity of a Muslims!"
Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli stated, "We are the followers of Amirul Momineen Ali (peace be upon him) who said, «لو تَمثّل لِی الفقر رجلاً لَقَتلتُهُ» If I see poverty, I will behead it! I did not come to help the poor, I came to prevent poverty, so we have emphasized many times that the budgets should be spent on helping production and employment."
By stating that in order to eradicate poverty, production and employment should be provided for everyone, he said, "with the help of great and generous men, which are a lot in the country and in coordination with the authorities, provide the bases for production and employment for everyone so they can work with dignity and bring bread to their table and live with dignity."
In the end, His Eminence appreciated the efforts of the Makaz Khadamat Howzeh and prayed that the works that have been done and the works that will be done, be accepted by Allah in the best way.
