Ayatollah Javadi Amoli

World reform is dependent on acting upon the instructions of divine prophets.

Esra News Agency: "Archbishop Malkhaz Songulashvili", the Archbishop of Georgia and a member of the Council of Baptist Churches of America and Europe, paid a visit to Ayatollah Javadi Amoli’s house, met his eminence and talked with.

Ayatollah Javadi Amoli stated in this meeting: The necessary solution for the current human world is what the prophets have said in unison. The problems taking place in Gaza and similar places is contrary to all divine religions. The so-called differences which exist between religions are the differences between the high degrees of the prophets themselves. There is no disagreement among the prophets. Now, if the teachings of Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) are implemented correctly, the world will be reformed. However, if the illuminating statements of the Prophet of Islam (peace be upon him and his progeny) are acted upon, the world will be even more illuminated.

He continued: There comes one Quranic principle in the blessed Surah "Al-Jathiyah" (verse, 24) which is the following verse:

﴿وَ قالُوا ما هِيَ إِلاَّ حَیاتُنَا الدُّنْیا نَمُوتُ وَ نَحْیا وَ ما يُهْلِكُنا إِلاَّ الدَّهْر﴾

"And they say, 'There is not but our worldly life; we die and live, and nothing destroys us except time." This three-fold principle is common among all disbelievers. The argument of everyone who are against the divine religions is these three principles. The first principle (of the disbelievers) is that there is no world other than this world, and a person who dies is demolished and there is no accountability after death (as they say:) “There is not but our worldly life;”. The second principle (of the disbelievers) is that in this world, besides death and life, there is no other important news and facts (as they say:) “we die and live”. And the third principle (of the disbelievers) is that the first cause created the world, and the second thing which regulates life and death, is only the nature and nothing else. These three principles (of the disbelievers) mentioned in Surah "Al-Jathiyah" contradict the talk of all the prophets; from Adam and Noah to Jesus Christ and the Messenger of God (peace be upon them) and the Holy Quran has answered these fallacies.

His Eminence stated: God says if there was no news beyond this world and if the world of existence was just this world without any accountability, it would be in vain, futile and without purpose, as everyone would act without being taken accountable for their deeds. The one who created the world with all its scientific order stated that a world without an afterlife is a mere plaything where everyone can do as they please without any consequences, but He stated:

﴿ وَمَا خَلَقۡنَا ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا لَٰاعِبِينَ

“We have not created the heavens and Earth and what is in between, as players”.

If the plunderers and bloodshedders of Gaza, one; and the servants of society, two; all die and there would be no consequence after they die, neither punishment nor reward, it becomes a mere plaything. God states we are not players.

His Eminence explained: Regarding death and life, it is true that death and life exist, but death and life are under the authority of a Wise Being. As long as a person is alive, it is according to precise medical and scientific procedures and when death occurs, it is according to precise medical laws, as well. These are not baseless and accidental occurrences scattered in middle of a desert. This nature you speak of, this nature itself, meaning the heaven and the earth are themselves the creation of God, therefore, in the final part of this verse, it is said that they are only making assumptions, not based on knowledge.

﴿مَا خَلَقۡنَٰهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ‏﴾

“We have not created them but based on Truth and Divine Purposes, but most of these People do not know.”

These false imaginations are contrary to the guidance of Adam (peace be upon him), contrary to the guidance of the Seal of the prophets (peace be upon him and his progeny), and contrary to other prophets.

This Shiite Marja’ stated: All prophets came and said that the world is so organized that (as the poet says:)

Whatever the way it is, it should be so

If your eyebrows were straight (uncurved), you were crooked

This is what all prophets say. We have commonalities with each other. The words of Christ (peace be upon him) are the same, the words of other prophets (peace be upon them) are the same. Of course, the differences in degrees are preserved, but if these words are put into practice, the world will be a paradise. Therefore, the Holy Quran considers some miracles of Christ's religion as universal and does not state that Christ's miracle is only for Christians but states:

﴿وَ جَعَلْناها وَ ابْنَها آيَةً لِلْعالَمین‏﴾

"And We made her and her son [i.e., Jesus and Mary] a sign for the worlds." (Surah Anbiya, verse 91) It means that Jesus and Mary being a duo, one becoming a mother without a spouse, and the other becoming a son without a father, is a global miracle. It's not a sign for Christians only! We hope that these statements become universal one day, while they are scientifically and knowingly global, but become practically global as well, so that we would neither witness the bitter memory of Gaza nor any intermittent proxy wars.

He stated: The insistence of divine leaders (peace be upon them) is to ‘know yourself’ so that you can know the world and build the world. O human, you are not like a tree to die and become firewood, but you are a bird as a Simurgh (a bird in Persian symbolism, symbolizing a Perfect-Man) seeking to fly to Mount Qaaf... We hope that one day humanity wakes up from its sleep and lives while being awake, neither going astray nor blocking someone else's path.

At the end, His Eminence responded to the questions raised by Archbishop of Georgia.

Archbishop of Georgia expressed happiness at meeting Ayatollah Javadi Amoli by stating: I confirm your words with my heart and soul, and I will keep these statements of yours with love in my heart.
