Esra News Agency: A group of students and managers from Islamic centers in Germany met and discussed with Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli at his residence.

In this meeting, Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli emphasized the significance of knowledge and its central role in human progress. He stated: "There is no such thing as non-Islamic knowledge; the essence of Islamic knowledge lies in how the reality of knowledge defines the known. If the object of knowledge is Islamic, then it becomes Islamic knowledge, and likewise, if the object of knowledge is alive, the knowledge [related to it] is alive too."

He continued: Everything that exists between the heavens and the earth is the creation of God, and since the identity of all creation is poverty, they depend on the active origin and Creator. As they are created with intention, they also possess a final purpose; thus, true knowledge is one that encompasses these three elements: the active origin, the internal system, and the final purpose. If someone recognizes only one of these elements, they have not grasped the essence of the known.

His Eminence while criticizing certain aspects of Western science, said: Scientists who focus solely on one aspect of truth and overlook the connection between knowledge and the origin and purpose of existence produce knowledge akin to a cold storage. They have mutilated the knowledge, meaning that they have disregarded both its beginning and end and this mutilated knowledge results cold storage object of knowledge. This lifeless knowledge not only lacks vitality but has also led to tragedies, such as the world wars and humanitarian crises in Gaza and similar contexts.

He emphasized the role of prophets in revealing true knowledge and stated: Hazrat Ibrahim, as the spiritual father of nations, is a clear example of a heavenly perspective on existence. Humanity is neither solely heavenly nor solely earthly; rather, it is celestial. Ibrahim Khalil witnessed this celestial realm, as noted in the verse

﴿وَ كَذلِكَ نُرِي إِبْراهِيمَ مَلَكُوتَ السَّماواتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ ﴾،

(And thus We showed Ibrahim the dominion of the heavens and the earth). Sight is distinct from vision; sight refers to the act of seeing, while vision pertains to looking. Ibrahim Khalil saw, and we must look; perhaps we will also see! However, we must remember that we are the descendants of Ibrahim Khalil

﴿مِلَّةَ أَبِيكُمْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ﴾،

(The faith of your father, Ibrahim) This very Ibrahim, who witnessed the celestial realm, is our father; we should not undervalue ourselves!

In another part of his speech, Ayatollah Javadi Amoli highlighted the importance of acquiring knowledge, stating: The Holy Quran commands us to understand all that exists in the heavens, the earth, and even in the depths of the seas; this understanding must be founded upon a monotheistic view and an accurate comprehension.

He stressed that living knowledge cultivates living scholars, which embodies the very mission that the prophets and Islam have delivered to humanity.

At the conclusion, his eminence answered questions posed by the audience. In response to a question regarding the priorities for Islamic youth managing religious centers, Ayatollah Javadi Amoli indicated that success in overseeing Islamic centers is contingent upon a strong relationship with God and adherence to the teachings of the Quran and the Ahlul-Bayt. Learn what the Quran and the Ahlul-Bayt have instructed, implement it, and disseminate it to others.

He also reminded the audience that many Western individuals are, by nature, Muslims but have not been guided due to a lack of access to divine knowledge; you should guide and save them through your knowledge and actions; it is your role to be their leader and guide.

His Eminence discussed the duties of Islamic youth in Western countries: According to the verses of the Quran, as long as the other party fulfills its commitments, you must also honor your obligations. This reflects rationality and respect for Islamic principles. As a young Muslim, you must respect the laws in your own countries. Muslims, wherever they may be, should move along the divine path with rationality, piety, and adherence to Islamic teachings, serving as an example for others. He concluded his remarks with a prayer for the success of those present.
