Grand Ayatollah Javad Amoli: Meetings.

Emphasis on Unity and Empathy in Society / Emphasis on Preserving the Values of the Islamic Revolution

Esra News Agency: The heads of the specialized committees of the Central Headquarters for the Anniversary of the Islamic Revolution and members of the Coordination Council for Islamic Propagation in the country met and discussed with Grand Ayatollah Javad Amoli at his residence.

In this meeting, Ayatollah Javad Amoli referred to the day of the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) Ascension, stating: "In the prayer of the night of Ascension, we say:

«اللّهُمّ إِنّی أَسْئَلُکَ بِالتَّجَلِی الْاعَظَمِ فِی هَذِهِ اللَّیْلَةِ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ الْمُعَظَّمِ»؛

'O Allah, I ask You by the Great Manifestation on this night of the dignified month'; divine grace is through manifestation and not separation! The essential difference between manifestation and separation is that separation is fragmented and distant, like rain that descends from a point; it is neither above nor below, but manifestation is like a rope that has no gaps and is present in all levels of existence, never separating from the source of divine grace. Therefore, through manifestation, a person can ascend because there is no disconnection!"

He further elaborated on the role of salutations and prayers in illuminating society, stating: In a luminous society, unity, equality, and brotherhood prevail. Therefore, there must be unity, solidarity, and interaction among officials and the people. Differences should be set aside, and we should focus on common opinions.

His Eminence emphasized: We, not just the clerics or the academics, but we, the people of Iran, are a great and noble people. The people of Iran should be treated with respect. The people also know that whether they are Muslim or non-Muslim, they must respect the laws of the country, and if there is no embezzlement or astronomical salaries in the country, the people will respect the law.

He further clarified: We should not make promises to the people, but rather keep them hopeful. There is a difference between making promises and instilling hope, and there is a difference between hope and mere desire. We should not make the people merely wishful, but we should inspire hope in them.

Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli also highlighted the importance of economic and cultural independence, emphasizing the necessity of strengthening the scientific and religious foundations of society. He stated: Our country possesses vast economic and social resources that must be acknowledged. Although there are challenges, significant work has also been accomplished, and in many cases, we have gained respect. "When you mention the faults of the wine, mention its virtues as well." However, if we act better, we will receive better responses.

He recounted a memory from the Sacred Defense era and stated: We had dear ones who, during the cold winter in Kurdistan, resisted and remained at their posts so long to the extent that they froze to death and became martyrs. When their bodies were brought to the Grand Mosque of Qom, we usually recite the Quran and Fatiha during the mourning ceremony, and there is no opportunity to sit until the end; however, that night, I sat until the end of the gathering and wept, not for divine reward, but out of embarrassment! There are still such young people today who must be appreciated, for they are our assets.

In this meeting, he also referred to the role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in clarifying religious teachings and supporting the independence of Islamic countries, emphasizing the necessity of preserving the values of the Islamic Revolution and strengthening the spirit of self-credence.

At the beginning of this meeting, Hujjatul-Islam Mousapour, the director of the Coordination Council for Islamic Propaganda, and Mr. Hamidreza Hajibabaei, the head of the Central Headquarters for the Fajr Decade of Islamic Revolution, presented a report on their programs for the Fajr Decade of Islamic Revolution. The report noted that the presence of the people reflects a country's international power, and the more people participate, the greater this power becomes.
