A group of university professors and directors of Islamic studies centers from Islamic countries met and discussed with Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli at the Esra International Foundation of Revelation Sciences.

In the beginning, Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli expressed gratitude for the report presented on the international conference of directors of Islamic studies centers around the world. He expressed hope that the achievements of this scientific journey would lead to greater blessings for the Islamic system and the revival of Islam in Islamic communities. Ayatollah Javadi Amoli emphasized, "The Islamic community must follow the correct path and not create obstacles for the progress of others; it should neither go astray nor block anyone's way."

The Manifestation of Divine Grandeur in the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him and his family)
In this meeting, Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli congratulated the occasion of the Prophet of Islam's (Peace be upon him and his family) prophethood and regarded this day as the greatest manifestation of the Divine and stated that the day of the Prophet's start of prophethood [by revelation of the first verses of the holy Quran] is the greatest manifestation mentioned and reflects the magnificence of God's manifestation in the greatness of the message of the Seal of the Prophets.

He pointed out the difference in perspectives between human scholars and divine leaders regarding human issues and existence, highlighting the role of prophets in providing timeless and spaceless strategies. He added, "Philosophers and scholars say that humanity is alive and naturally social, and every civilized society requires a leader; thus, we need a prophet. This is the essence of the philosophers' argument. However, divine prophets, in general, and especially the last of them, do not see prophethood as bound by earth or time. They perceive the truth of humanity beyond the historical era and geographical context, and prophethood is also a matter of Angelic Realm (Malakut; the realm of kingdom, pleroma)."

He emphasized: The human body decays and perishes, but the soul and spirit of a person are eternal. This eternal truth of humanity requires divine leadership; it speaks of the Malakut (Pleroma, Angelic Realm), not the external world (Mulk)! Therefore, the Zionists who oppress in Gaza or the instigators of World War I and II are not human. Humanity means having angelic qualities!

If you strive, you become an angel,
It is [like] the mulberry leaf that gradually becomes silk.

Human Sciences in the View of Divine Leaders
He elucidated: Another example of the difference between the contributions of human scholars and divine prophets is the categorization of sciences by humans. Scholars divide sciences into two categories: human and non-human. For instance, they consider geography, geology, astronomy, mathematics, and chemistry as non-human sciences, while they regard jurisprudence, ethics, and law as human sciences. However, divine leaders assert that everything in the system of existence is considered human sciences due to the fact that all of these are considered to be the book of God, and humanity must turn its pages and learn from them.

His Excellency, citing verses from the Quran, emphasized: God states in the Quran:

﴿سَخَّرَ لَكُمْ ما فی السّماوات و ما فی الاَرض﴾

“He has subjected to you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth.” We have made everything subservient to you. All beings, the earth and the heavens, the sun and the stars are at the service of humanity. All of these are human sciences. Man must take advantage of these blessings and apply them through action and contemplation, and by utilizing these capacities, he can achieve perfection.

The Comprehensive Perspective of Divine Leaders on the Essence of Humanity
He also pointed out the difference in perspectives between philosophers and divine leaders, stating: In the scholarly view of universities and seminaries, knowledge is divided into the known and the unknown. If it is known, it is an asset, and if it is unknown, it must be recognized through the known. And therefore, our capital is nothing more than mental imagination!
However, divine leaders, of whom Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him) is an outstanding example, see the truth beyond this perspective, encompassing the entirety of existence. They emphasize that truth must be recognized through truth, and everything that is manifest and hidden in the world consists of divine assets that humanity must utilize for guidance and growth.

At the end, His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli answered questions from some attendees, and the meeting concluded with an exchange of scientific ideas.

At the beginning of this meeting, Hujjatul-Islam Ahmad Hossein Sharifi, the president of Qom University, presented a report on the first international conference of managers of educational and research centers in the field of Islamic sciences and studies. This conference, held in the city of Qom, was themed "Islamic Education as a Civilization Builder: Opportunities and Capacities for Scientific and Cultural Cooperation."
