Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli: Meetings.

Iran is the cradle of civilization and knowledge / Emphasis on preserving Iran's cultural and scientific identity / We must protect the country's scientific elites

Esra News Agency: Dr. Peyman Jebeli, the head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting Organization, and his accompanying delegation visited Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli's residence for a meeting and discussion.

Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli in a meeting with the head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting Organization:

During this meeting, Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli referred to the mission of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and stated: The divine prophets (peace be upon them) have always played a significant role in guiding human thought and transforming earthly perspectives into a heavenly outlook. While humanity requires laws, social systems, and unity, these are earthly matters; although they are essential, they need a spirit to understand that humans do not die and they are eternal beings!

He expressed: Based on this perspective, human life is not limited to this world. It encompasses the world, the Barzakh (the intermediary state; Purgatory), and the Resurrection (Afterlife). Therefore, humanity needs a law that not only secures their worldly existence but also their afterlife. This law must originate from revelation to align with the eternal dimensions of humanity.

His Eminence further stated: A person who can speak knowledgeably about millions of years ago and discuss it with scholarly insight is neither earthly nor bound by time, and the prophets have come to tell us to speak in a manner that is compatible with your eternity.

He expressed: If man is eternal, he must think eternally; thoughts that are not everlasting do not belong to humanity. Positions, egocentricities, and factionalism are worldly, and when a person dies, these matters are no longer relevant. Divine prophets have come to teach humanity that there are actions that endure for our eternity. Every action must be based on eternal criteria and aligned with the path of truth; only those actions that are performed for the pleasure of God and eternal happiness will endure.

Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli, in another part of his speech, emphasized the scientific and civilizational position of Iran, asserting: Iran has always been a cradle of civilization and knowledge, playing a significant role in the expansion of global science and culture. The existence of valuable scientific works such as the Four Books and the contributions of great figures like Sheikh Tusi and scholars like Avicenna testify to this scientific and cultural heritage.

His Eminence continued: We, the people of Iran, are a great people; we have both history and geography. We are a nation with an ancient history and civilization, and we must protect this valuable heritage. However, the United States, lacking cultural identity and authenticity, fabricates history based on power and wealth! Meanwhile, during the First and Second World Wars and now with the massacre of children in Gaza, there is no trace of humanity in these actions. We are distinct from them; we should not sell ourselves cheaply. We must preserve our cultural identity and scientific power.

He emphasizing on the fight against corruption and injustice, stated: If embezzlement, astronomical salaries, and financial abuses are eradicated in the country, people will have greater respect for the law. We must not allow some wrongful actions to tarnish the justice-seeking image of the system.

He emphasized the importance of preserving scientific elites and the intellectual independence of the country, stating: In today's world, Iran must rely on its scientific power and not allow its top talents to migrate to other countries. Our elites are the light of our eyes and the main assets of the country, and serious planning must be undertaken to preserve them, as science and thought are the main tools of power and progress for any nation.

Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli expressed gratitude for the efforts of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting Organization during this meeting and expressed hope that these activities align with divine satisfaction and are accepted by the Almighty.

At the beginning of this meeting, Dr. Jebeli, the head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting Organization, reported on the implementation of the transformation document and the change in media culture and content priorities, stating: Addressing the rightful demands of the people and solving problems are among our priorities at the Broadcasting Organization, and we strive to be the voice of the people while also reflecting the achievements of the system. He emphasized the necessity of "Jihad of Explanation," highlighting the importance of showcasing the system's advancements and strengths, as well as addressing the weaknesses of its adversaries.
